Mindy Porter joined the core leadership team of the Amazeum in 2013 prior to the museum opening to the public in 2015. Utilizing her 14 years of science museum experience, she created the vision for the education department including educational approach, staffing structure, operational models, and programming. Mindy oversees the team responsible for key impact areas of the museum including Unfield Trips, early learner programs, tinkering initiatives, guest experiences, workshops and camps.
